  Pressure pot paint sprayers are ideal for use by professionals and the weekend painter. The most common type of pressure pot paint sprayer is the high volume, low pressure (HVLP) sprayer. The high volume paint container, ease of use and quick clean up make it an ideal choice for large and small painting jobs.
  
  

Less Wasted Paint

• HVLP pot paint sprayers all but eliminate the problem of waste. As paint exits the nozzle, it is atomized at a low pressure, three to five pounds per square inch, which reduces spattering and dripping. Because the paint is atomized to a fine mist, almost all of the paint exiting the nozzle adheres to the surface being painted. The spray gun used with an HVLP pot paint sprayer is machined to a higher degree than those used with high pressure systems. HVLP pot paint sprayers transfer paint to a surface with up to 65 percent efficiency. The result is a finer paint mist and less waste of paint due to blowback, drips and paint bouncing from the surface.
  
  

More Accuracy

• Because paint is atomized and delivered to the surface in a fine mist with a high volume of air, even beginners can achieve a professional finish on just about any surface. Unlike high pressure systems that force high volumes of paint through the nozzle at high speeds, the HVLP pot paint sprayer uses less pressure and mixes a high volume of air with the paint. This provides for greater accuracy, dramatically reducing the amount of overspray. Up to 70 percent of the paint is deposited on the intended surface. Less overspray means less preparation time is required to protect surrounding objects, and clean up is much easier.
  
  

Low Cost

• Most HVLP paint pot systems cost between $700 and $1000. The initial investment may seem large, but the system pays for itself with saved paint, do-it-yourself professional finishes and a long life. HVLP paint pot systems come with a nozzle, a generous length--30 feet or more--of high quality hose, a large paint reservoir and a turbine. The turbine lasts more than 10 years with normal use (2 to 4 times per week for several hours) and proper maintenance.
