- 1). Unscrew the coaxial cable on the existing integrated ATSC tuner on the rear of the plasma television.
- 2). Screw the antenna or the incoming satellite/cable coax to the threaded coaxial input. For antennas, the input will be labeled "ANT"; for satellite, "SAT"; and for cable, "RF" or "COAX IN."
- 3). Locate the HDMI port on the rear of the tuner or decoder. Plug the cable into this port, noting the keyed shape of the connector.
- 4). Route the HDMI cable from the tuner/decoder to the matching input on the rear of the plasma.
- 5). Turn on the set, and the tuner or decoder. Head into the tuner/decoder's menu system to acquire and memorize the available channels. Satellite and digital cable systems will do this automatically. Consult the tuner/decoder's manual for the specific process involved for the model in question.
