- 1). Connect both the DVD player and the LCD TV to a power outlet but do not power either one of them on. If the devices are on when you begin connecting cables there is a greater risk of electric shock.
- 2). Connect the red, white and yellow RCA cables to the "Video Out" port on the back of the DVD player. Make sure the appropriate colored cable is inserted into the same port. The red and white cables transport the audio signals while the yellow is for video.
- 3). Plug the other end of the RCA cables into the "Video In" port on the television. Like on the DVD player, make sure the appropriate colored cables are inserted into the same colored ports.
- 4). Power on both the DVD player and the LCD TV. Press the "Video" button on either the LCD or TV remote control. This displays the content on the DVD player. The DVD player and LCD TV are now synchronized.
