- 1). Turn on whatever entertainment component you would like to program manually and point your Pioneer remote at the device.
- 2). Press and hold the "Code Search" button on the remote and the button will light up.
- 3). Continue holding the "Code Search" button and press and release the button on your remote for the device that you are syncing to. This button will be labeled with "TV," "VCR," "DVD," "Cable" or "AUX" and will flash after being pressed.
- 4). Release the "Code Search" button and press the "On/Off" button on the remote repeatedly until the device turns on. This can take up to two or three minutes.
- 5). Wait for the device button to flash again and the programming procedure will be done.
