- 1). Turn off the cable box and unplug its power cord.
- 2). Disconnect the main coaxial cable from the input jack on the cable box by unscrewing the metal ring on the cable end.
- 3). Attach the main cable to the input jack on the amplifier signal booster.
- 4). Hook up a second coaxial cable from the output on the signal booster to the input jack on on your cable box. Reconnect the power cord for the cable box and plug in the power cord for the amplifier signal booster.
