- 1). Choose the colors you want for your first pom-pom person. Some pom-poms are available in sparkling varieties or neon colors, as opposed to the traditional primary and secondary colors.

Plug in your hot glue gun and give it time to heat up. Once it is heated, insert a glue stick. - 3). Draw a heart shape on the cardboard or foam that is large enough that you can see the top two curves of the heart when you set your pom-pom on top of it. The heart will be your pom-pom person's feet.
- 4). Cut out the heart.
- 5). Squeeze a little glue onto the cardboard heart, and press the first pom-pom onto its new feet. Allow a few seconds to cool.
- 6). Squeeze a dime-sized amount of glue onto the pom-pom already in place, and gently press the next pom-pom on. Allow time to cool. Repeat this step until you have made your person as tall as you want him.
- 7). Squeeze a little glue onto a googly eye and press it into place on the pom-pom person's face. Allow a few seconds for cooling, and add the next eye.
