This event took place in the parking lot of the coliseum with country artists Kix Brooks, Tracy Byrd, Jeff Carson, Greg Cook, Ty England, Troy Gentry, Andy Griggs, Doni Harris, Daniel Lee Martin, Paul Overstreet, Rusty Tabor, and more. Griggs began the tournament three years ago as an alternative to other types of fundraising events. The Archery Tournament has been a huge hit with fans since. Artists enjoy participating because they have a personal interest in the sport, and the fans enjoy seeing them in a different type of setting.

As Andy Griggs said at the Ryman at the IFCO event, they started this because a few of them suck at golf.
Fans cheered as Brooks, Byrd, England, Gentry and others as they aimed at targets of faux deer, bear and wolves. Griggs tied for second with Martin and England. Competing for the top score were Kix Brooks, Troy Gentry of Montgomery Gentry, Tracy Byrd, Greg Cook of Ricochet, Ty England, Doni Harris of Rushlow, Neil Thrasher, Paul Overstreet, Daniel Lee Martin and Rusty Tabor. Fellow Rushlow band members were also on hand to support Harris. Neil Thrasher (formerly of the duo Thrasher Shiver) proved the surest shot placing first among 12 celebrity contestants. Even though it was very hot, all had a great time.
