- 1). Stand one candlestick upright on the working surface. Apply strong craft glue around the top rim of the candlestick. If you are using glass candlesticks for this craft project, you will need a special glass glue.
- 2). Affix the second candlestick on top of the bottom one. Place the top of the second candlestick on the top of the first candlestick, where the glue was applied. The second candlestick appears upside-down. Press the two candlesticks together firmly to make the connection. Hold them together for at least 30 seconds before releasing.
- 3). Apply the same glue to the top of the candlestick structure. Set the charger plate on top of the glue. Press the charger plate down with your hand and hold in place for 30 seconds. Allow the centerpiece base to dry overnight. You now have a tall centerpiece base with a charger top on which you can set centerpieces.
