How to Attach Styrofoam to a Block Wall
- 1). Attach lightweight pieces of Styrofoam with strips of industrial Velcro for a temporary situation, or when you want to be able to move them around to various places. Attach one side of the Velcro to the wall and other other side to the Styrofoam. Press them together for an instant bond.
- 2). Tack the foam to the wall with an instant glue. The instructions for instant glue generally direct you to smear some of the glue on both sides of the material and then bond them together. This is a more permanent solution and might harm the Styrofoam if you pull it away from the wall.
- 3). Glue the Styrofoam to fabric sheets with an adhesive spray, then attach the sheets to the block wall with adhesive putty. This is the most flexible method as it allows you to remove or relocate the blocks almost immediately with no damage to the walls or the Styrofoam.
