- 1). Remove the two Phillips screws in the armrest, and the screws at the bottom of the door panel, using the Phillips screwdriver. Lift the door panel to dislodge the inverted hooks on the door panel from the door. Move the door panel away from the door, just enough to disconnect the electrical plugs from the window switch.
- 2). Peel the moisture barrier back to reveal the access hole in the door. Insert the common screwdriver down between the window and the door to wedge the window so it will not fall. Remove the 10-mm nuts that secure the window base to the regulator, using a 10-mm socket. Remove the electrical plug from the window motor.
- 3). Remove the bolts that secure the window regulator and motor to the door, using a 10-mm socket. Remove the regulator and motor through the access hole in the rear part of the door.
- 4). Insert the new regulator through the access panel in the door and line up the holes in the regulator with the predrilled holes in the door. Install the securing bolts and tighten with the 10-mm socket. Withdraw the screwdriver and lower the window down to the window regulator. Insert the studs on the window base channel into the holes in the regulator. Install the nuts and tighten.
- 5). Install the window motor electrical connector. Install the moisture shield and door panel in reverse order of removal.
