How to Program an OEM Key for a Nissan's fob
- 1). Close and lock all the doors via the driver's door console.
- 2). Insert the ignition key, but don't turn it. Withdraw it. Repeat this five more times. Complete this step in under 10 seconds, but don't do it too quickly. If you succeed, the car will flash its hazard lights.
- 3). Insert the ignition key and turn it to the "ACC" position.
- 4). Push any button on your fob within five seconds of completing Step 3. (For older models, you may have to push the "Lock" button specifically.) Again, your hazard lights will flash to confirm that you programmed the fob correctly.
- 5). Program remaining fobs by unlocking and relocking all the doors with the controls in the driver's door console. Then push any button on the next fob within five seconds. Repeat with every additional fob.
- 6). Exit the programming mode by removing the ignition key and unlocking the doors from the driver's door console. Then open the driver's door.
