- 1). Sit inside the vehicle and close all of the doors before inserting the key into the ignition.
- 2). Press the unlock button on the driver's door and continue to hold it in place.
- 3). Move the ignition key to the on position and then back to the off position. Move it to the on position and back to the off position again.
- 4). Let go of the unlock button and listen for the door locks to lock and unlock. This is to verify that the vehicle has entered programming mode.
- 5). Push the lock and unlock buttons at the same time on the remote and hold them in place until the doors lock and unlock again to confirm that the remote was accepted. Repeat this step with any other remote that needs to be programmed.
- 6). Move the ignition key back to the on position to exit the programming mode. Test the remotes from outside of the vehicle.
