How to Fix Cracks in a Subwoofer

104 17
    • 1). Put your subwoofer into an open area with plenty of light.

    • 2). Shine the flashlight onto the subwoofer and follow the visible cracks to ensure that they do not go further when exposed with the flashlight. If the crack is wider than 1/8 inch, you should consider replacing the subwoofer as the audio will sound distorted.

    • 3). Put on the rubber gloves to avoid getting silicone sealant on your hands.

    • 4). Dab a small amount of silicone sealant on your fingers and spread it over the crack on the subwoofer. Fill in the entire crack with the silicone sealant, and let it for at least three days before using it.
