- 1). Open the ashtray at the center of the dashboard underneath the cigarette lighter. Lift the removable cup from the ashtray by pulling it straight up. Put the cup aside.
- 2). Place your fingers under the right hand side of the base of the dash trim panel just above the open ash tray. Pull out carefully on the panel until the holding clip releases. Repeat this step for the left side of the trim panel.
- 3). Place your fingers under each side of the bottom of the trim panel. Pull the trim panel straight out on both sides until the remaining holding clips release (two more on each side).
- 4). Hold the trim panel away from the dashboard. Pull the wiring harness away from the passenger air bag light which is mounted near the top of the trim panel. Remove the trim panel and place it aside.
- 5). Remove the four radio holding screws revealed after removing the trim panel with a nut driver turned in a counterclockwise direction. Place the screws aside.
- 6). Pull the radio straight out of the dashboard opening. Remove the wiring harness from the rear of the radio by pulling it straight out. Remove the radio from the passenger compartment.
