- 1). Press the "Power" button on the Insignia DVD player. In a moment you can see the display screen come to life. When you are finished with the DVD player you push the same button to turn it off.
- 2). Press the "Open" button either on the DVD player or on the remote control to open the DVD tray. Insert a DVD movie and then press the "Open" button again to close the tray. Try to avoid pushing the tray back into the player because you are more likely to damage the device.
- 3). Press "Play" on the DVD remote control and the DVD movie loads onto the screen. This also works as the "Enter" button for the device.
- 4). Push "Next" to skip to the next chapter on the DVD. Push "Back" to skip to the previous chapter on the DVD.
- 5). Select "FastForward" to move quickly through the scene. You can move at 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x and 32x the actual speed of the movie. Likewise you can press the "Rewind" button to move backward on the movie.
- 6). Press "Stop" to stop the Insignia DVD playback. A display screen takes over the screen. If you want to return to the DVD movie push "Play."
