- 1). Place adhesive stencil tape on your car to create the bottom line of your stripe. Make sure the tape is exactly where you want your stripe to be and that it is secured firmly to the car so it does not slip when you begin painting.
- 2). Secure another line of the stencil tape above the first line. Place the tape carefully to create the desired width of your stripe.
- 3). Use a stencil brush to paint the stripe the desired color. The stencil brush has a very fine tip that makes it easier to paint within the tape lines.
- 4). Allow the stripe to dry for at least three hours before gently removing the tape.
- 5). Repeat the above process if you desire multiple stripes on your car.
