- 1). Navigate to the skate shoe company website (see Resources). Locate the section where you can design your own skate shoes.
- 2). Select your gender and your shoe size and style. Both Etnies and Vans have customizable shoes for men, women and kids, and you will be picking from some of their top models to use as a starting point. Etnies offers the Fader, RSS, Callicut and Jameson. Vans gives you the option of either Slip-on, Old Skool or Era.
- 3). Choose colors for each individual panel of the shoes. Each company has a different selection of colors and designs. With Etnies, you can even pick different colors for the logos. Spend some time experimenting with different color combinations, and find the one that's right for you.
- 4). Preview your skate shoes, checking out the side, front and back views.
