- 1). Fold the piece of paper in half lengthwise.
- 2). Fold the top corner of one end of the paper so it aligns with the folded edge, making sure to firmly crease it along the fold. Then unfold the corner. Repeat this process using the opposite corner. You should now have a piece of paper folded in half with two creased guidelines intersecting in the middle of the rectangle near the top.
- 3). Pinch the intersection point of these two guidelines. This will cause that part of the paper to fold up into a triangular shape.
- 4). Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the other end of the paper. You should now have a paper with both ends having a triangle shape.
- 5). Fold in the sides of the paper so that they fold underneath the flaps of each triangle. Now you should have a paper that looks like a double-edged arrow.
- 6). Fold the triangle flaps of one end in so that they come together in the middle. It does not matter which end you choose here.
- 7). Fold the other end up, so the point overlaps the flaps you just folded on the other end by 1 inch.
- 8). Tuck the top flaps into the newly intersected flaps from the other end. The space ship is complete.
