- 1). Insert the yellow, red and white plugs on the end of a composite cable set into the matching color AV OUT jacks on the back of the TV.
- 2). Connect the other ends to the AV IN jacks on the VCR. This connection sends a signal to the VCR for recording TV programming.
- 3). Plug a second set of composite cables into the AV IN jacks on the back of the TV, then connect the other ends to the AV OUT or Playback jacks on the VCR. This connection sends the signal from a recorded videotape to the TV for viewing.
