How to Connect Cable to a Memorex Under Cabinet TV

    • 1). Measure the distance from your Memorex under-cabinet TV to the main cable receiver in your house. Measure in straight lines underneath the cabinet, down to the floor and along the baseboard to the cable box. This is the length of coaxial cable you will need to buy.

    • 2). Disconnect the coaxial cable that attaches to your main television (such as the TV in a family room) from the current cable TV receiver. The cable disconnects by turning the outer ring counter-clockwise and pulling straight off the jack. Be careful not to bend or break the rigid wire inside the plug.

    • 3). Connect the cable to the input jack on an RF signal splitter by inserting the plug and pin into the jack and turning the outer ring clockwise.

    • 4). Connect coaxial cables to the two remaining (output) jacks on the signal splitter.

    • 5). Connect one of the cables to your main television RF input jack.

    • 6). Route the second coaxial cable along the floorboard to the cabinet where the under-cabinet Memorex TV is located.

    • 7). Secure the line against the floorboard with staples over the cable, not through it.

    • 8). Attach the cable to the underside of the cabinet behind the Memorex TV using the staple gun.

    • 9). Connect the coaxial cable to the RF input jack on the back of the Memorex under-cabinet TV.
