Improve The Health Of Your Car - What About Your Human Health?

103 21
People go out of their way to try to eat the right foods, do the right exercises, and stay healthy.
Today, it's practically a necessity considering the price of healthcare and healthcare insurance.
Still, what about your car? If you don't maintain a healthy car it could end up costing you tens of thousands of dollars in repairs, not to mention the risk of being stranded somewhere and find yourself a victim of circumstance.
I'd like to talk to you about a new type of automotive diagnostic tool which we may find more common in the future.
There was an interesting article in Science Daily on December 10, 2012 titled; "Ultrasound Can Now Monitor the Health of Your Car Engine," which stated; "Ultrasound scans have long been a fundamental tool in healthcare for looking inside the human body, but they have never before been put to use in testing the health of a modern combustion engine," and "A system that uses ultrasound technology to look inside car engines could lead to more efficient engines -- and huge fuel savings for motorists.
" As a former franchisor in the auto services sector we were always up on the latest and greatest strategies, techniques, and equipment.
But we never had anything quite like this.
Still, getting back to my first comment that you need to watch your own health, you must also know that ultrasound is not good for your body, at least not constant bombardment.
It is true that ultrasound is used for many medical devices for imaging, and even for breaking down gallstones or kidney stones using a focused beam.
But too much ultrasound can hurt your brain, cause you to go dizzy, and affect the cells in your body.
If your car is constantly running ultrasound while you're driving as it senses the engine, you had better make sure that ultrasound is kept within the engine compartment.
With the body metal and firewalls becoming smaller and thinner to save weight, there isn't very much to protect you against the ultrasound scanning.
If it is only used inside the motor or engine you are probably safe.
Nevertheless, I dare to ask what happens as this technology becomes more common, and is used in other parts of the car, or used outside the motor block - will that affect your health? Will it affect things like pedestrian passive radar, lane departure sensors, or the electronics in your vehicle themselves? These are all questions I would like to ask, and I'm sure there are some answers.
You see, it is better that we ask these questions now shore up any potential conflicts using this technology, rather than learning the hard way.
Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.
