- 1). Mount the solenoid bracket to the winch's mounting plate with the provided bolts, nuts and washers.
- 2). Fasten the solenoid to the bracket by aligning the mounting holes and securing it with the provided bolts, nuts and washers.
- 3). Fasten the green and black wires from the winch's remote control socket to the bullet terminals of the solenoid. These work by pushing the two terminals together and can act as a quick disconnect, if necessary.
- 4). Attach the blue and yellow wire from the winch's motor to the terminals on the solenoid. The blue wire will go to the terminal marked negative motor (-) and and yellow wire will attach to the terminal marker positive motor (+). These are fastened by loosening the terminal nut and placing the ring connector over the bolt and tightening the nut down.
- 5). Fasten the vehicle's battery wires to the solenoid's terminals. The red (+) wire to the terminal marked "battery (+)" and the black (-) wire to the terminal marker "battery (-)"
