- 1). Open your "Settings" application on your iPhone. Press the "Wi-Fi" option. Press the blue arrow next to your Wi-Fi connection. Your iPhone IP address is displayed on this screen. Keep this screen open while using WinSCP.
- 2). Open WinSCP on your personal computer. Enter your IP address into the "Host name" field. Enter the word "root" into the "User name" field. Type the word "alpine" into the "Password" field. Press the "Login" button.
- 3). Browse the iPhone file system. The layout of WinSCP is similar to Windows Explorer with a hierarchy of folders and subfolders.
- 4). Create new folders in your iPhone by pressing the "F7" key. Right click a folder and choose the "Delete" button to delete a folder.
- 5). Transfer files to your iPhone by using the copy/paste function.
