How to Make Your Hair Wavier
- 1). Wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner. Finger comb your hair to remove tangles. Avoid combing your hair as you could release any natural waves your hair holds.
- 2). Flip your head upside down. Squeeze out a quarter-sized amount of voluminizing mousse onto your palms. Rub your palms together to warm the mousse up. Massage the mousse into your roots with your fingertips.
- 3). Blow-dry on a medium setting until your hair feels slightly damp. Continue to massage your scalp to create volume at the roots.
- 4). Squeeze a small amount of curl-defining hair gel to the palms of your hands. Rub your hands together to warm it up. Flip your head upside down once again. Work it into your hair. Avoid using too much gel because you don't want your hair to look sticky and greasy.
- 5). Scrunch your hair from the ends of your hair to the roots while blow-drying it on a medium setting.
- 6). Define a few waves that frame your face with hair pomade. Define the ends of layers in your hair, bangs or ends of hair that you like.
- 7). Flip your head upside down again. Spray hair with a soft-hold hairspray. Bring your head up and fix any stray hairs that are out of place.
