- 1). Power down the phone, and place it face down in your palm. Remove the battery cover from the pack of the phone by sliding it downward. Lift the battery pack out of its compartment, and set it aside.
- 2). Unscrew the four Phillips-head screws from the four corners of the empty battery compartment.
- 3). Insert a guitar pick, credit card or similar tool into the crease along the outside edge of the rear housing. Run the tool along the crease until the back housing pops off the phone. Repeat this to remove the front housing.
