During childhood days I was not allowed to play guns or any other toys that according to them could influence violence in me, but in one of the magazines I had when I was in my teen age years, a picture of a small silver gun took my attention. From then, I started the hobby of collecting pictures (at first, that was that, but eventually I planned to have the real one of course) of different rifles and ammunition. When I reached the legal age I started buying small guns for my collection, I even joined a shooting team not only to experience the power of a gun but to develop the discipline I needed since I plan to collect as many as I could, I gained friends who also had the passion in guns. Then I started reading, searching for more knowledge about different kinds of rifles and accessories, I noticed that many of them chose the AR-15 (ArmaLite Model 15). So I strive to have one. Then, I enhanced it and bought AR-15 Accessories to maximize its use, that is according to the ammunition store I went into.
Another type of rifle that caught my attention is the AK-47. As I have read, the Ak-47 and Ak-74 are probably the most renowned battle rifle as of today. Because according to many it is the world's most rugged and reliable rifle. And you can customize this rifle; you can develop it to the style fitted for what you need, where and when to use it. Since the sunset of the crime bill, it is now legal to assembly a semi-auto ak47 and the parts and all AK-47 Acessories can be availed from any ammunition store, from grips to magazines, lasers to scopes etc. Mine was from Mounting Solutions Plus. MSP prides itself not only on delivering the finest AK-47 accessories available, but for living up to their name -- Mounting Solutions. MSP still has their Master Machinist to whom customers, with unique problems mounting an accessory to a AK-47, are referred and MSP will make every effort to solve any AK-47 accessory mounting problem no matter how difficult.
My latest possession is the AR-10 Rifle. The original AR-10 was built in somewhat small numbers, with less than 10,000 rifles assembled. But because of its unique features, in due course, it would be developed into the U.S. Armys M16. AR-10 Accessories include AR-10 forearms, AR-10 recoil buffers, AR-10 rails and stocks and AR-10 charging handles. Scopes also are available for AR-10 Rifle rifles but I think you have to make it more customized to fit in including scope rings and the scope mounts these are the usual point of problem when installing stuffs on an AR-10 rifle.
What I like about the AR-10 Rifle in general, AR-10 rifles are good and easy to use because of its light and not so expensive price. Its just over 1 lb (0.45 kg) lighter than most other infantry rifles, and was a lot easier to control in automatic fire. Having these rifles makes me feel a lot happier and satisfied. Though I was not able to attain my dream of being in the military service, possessing these guns make feel like Im one of them who were using rifles and fighting for the greater good.
