How to Crop a Picture in SketchBook Pro on the iPad

Instructions

Open the image to edit in Sketchbook Pro on the iPad.

Tap the “Layer" icon in the top toolbar to display the Layer panel, and then tap the layer containing the image to crop.

Tap the “Selection” tool in the top toolbar.

Tap and drag the Selection box around the section of the image to crop.

Tap and hold the layer containing the selected section to open the Cut, Copy and Paste controls.

Tap “Cut” to cut the graphic from the original layer, or tap “Copy” to copy the image.

Tap “+” in the bottom toolbar in the Layers panel to open a new layer.

Tap and hold inside the new layer in the Layer panel to open the Cut, Copy and Paste controls.

Tap “Paste” to paste the selected image section into the layer.

Delete or hide all layers other than the selected image.

Tap “+” in the top toolbar to open the Save dialog box, and then tap “Save” to save the new image to a file.
