- 1). Measure down 1/3 of the way from the top of the frame, using the tape measure, and mark a spot with the pen, in the middle of the side of each side of the frame.
- 2). Place the wood screw on the marks, and drive it in a few turns, using the screwdriver to make a pilot hole for the eye-screw. Then, remove.
- 3). Install the eye-screws in the pilot holes, starting with your fingers and finishing by placing the screwdriver though the eye-holes, for leverage.
- 4). Attach the end of the wire to one eye-screw, by looping it through the eye-screw twice, securing it by twisting back around itself three times, then back through the eye-screw a final time. Stretch it taught across the frame, three inches past the far eye-screw. Cut the with scissors and tie-off. Cut off excess.
