Are you ready to get ripped? Here is a quick and easy work out plan that will enable you to burn lots of calories and get your body fat percentage down so that you look like a Greek statue.
But, first let me explain some things so that you understand what you are doing.
That is the reason most people fail to get the results they desire, because they just don't understand what their goal is and, consequently, how to get there.
The key to getting ripped is to reduce your overall body fat percentage.
Men need to get below 10% and women need to get below 16%.
To lose a pound of fat you must burn 3,500 calories.
This is a lot because the average person only burns 2,000 calories in the course of the day.
To burn fat most people resort to cardio exercises such as the elliptical, Stairmaster, treadmill and so on.
However, you can spend an entire hour on these and still only burn about 500 calories.
At that rate it would take seven hours, almost a full work day, to lose a single pound of fat.
So, now we realize we've really got to bring out the big guns.
To do this we are going to start lifting weights.
This has a number of advantages because muscle burns fat so it will actually increase your metabolism.
If you do the following exercises your body will exert so much effort that you will go into a metabolic shock and be burning calories at a higher rate for days after.
Day 1: Lunges, dips, dumb bell swings, military press.
Day 2: Dead lift, chin ups, bent over rows.
Day 3 Bench press, squats, clean and jerk, dumb bell snatches.
Day 4: Romanian dead lift, pull ups, single armed bar bell curls, renegade rows.
If you do these exercises with a kettle bell you will burn even more calories and be well on your way to getting ripped.
