- 1). Avoid the possibility of electric shock or a short circuit by disconnecting the negative battery terminal, using an adjustable wrench.
- 2). Remove the old radio. Insert the Ford radio removal keys until they click into place. Push the ends outwards and pull the radio out of the dashboard housing. Disconnect the wiring on the rear of the radio. Pull out the radio antenna cable.
- 3). Plug the radio antenna cable into the radio antenna port on the rear of the stereo.
- 4). Connect the wire harness of the car into the appropriate port on the rear of the stereo. Push the connection in, until it clicks into place.
- 5). Push the connected stereo into the dashboard housing. Slide it in fully until it clicks into place. Be careful not to trap any wiring when sliding the unit in. Reconnect the car battery and switch on the stereo.
