- 1). Turn off your Samsung TV and unplug it.
- 2). Place your Samsung TV facedown on a towel or blanket in order to protect the screen. Locate the top of the base stand where it connects to the back of the screen. It is held in place with four screws.
- 3). Remove the four screws from the corners of the top of the base stand.
- 4). Remove the base stand from the back of the Samsung TV.
