How to Do a Two-Handed Backhand Tennis Stroke
- 1). Turn your shoulders back as you pull your racquet back to make the stroke.
- 2). Position your dominant hand on the grip as you turn your shoulders back.
- 3). Slide your non-dominant hand down the forehand grip. Touch your hands together but do not overlap them.
- 4). Cross over with your non-dominant foot and move your body towards the ball.
- 5). Move your front shoulder downward. Prepare to swing as the ball bounces.
- 6). Move the racquet over your head as you swing.
- 7). Complete the swing by moving the racquet up and over the opposite shoulder.
