If your daughter loves Tinkerbell, you may wish to decorate her room in Tinkerbell wallpaper. Tinkerbell wallpaper comes in a variety of patterns and colors. Wallpaper all the walls in the room in the same Tinkerbell wallpaper, or wallpaper only one half of the walls as an accent. Additionally, you may wish to use Tinkerbell wallpaper on accent pieces in her room to create a themed room. - Wallpaper each wall in the bedroom from ceiling to floor. Take into account the pattern of your Tinkerbell wallpaper before wallpapering the walls. Place the wallpaper next to a wall without attaching it to the wall and line up the pattern on the wallpaper. Cut the wallpaper into strips once you have achieved the pattern you desire. This allows the wallpaper's pattern to continue without disruption, and creates a flawless finish.
- Perhaps you wish to wallpaper half of the wall in the bedroom and paint the other half. Wallpapering half a wall and installing molding or trim over the wallpaper seams divides the wallpaper from the painted area of the wall nicely and hides the seams of the wallpaper. Select a paint color to match a color in your Tinkerbell wallpaper; for example, pink, green, blue or yellow are all colors reminiscent of Tinkerbell. If you wish to paint the molding a different color, take into account the colors of the wallpaper and painted walls before painting the molding. Select a color for the molding that will complement the other colors on the walls.
- If you’re decorating a room for a small child with Tinkerbell wallpaper, wallpaper your child’s toy box. Wallpapering the toy box allows you to incorporate the Tinkerbell wallpaper into the bedroom on a different surface than the walls. Measure each side of the toy box and the lid. Transfer the measurements to the Tinkerbell wallpaper and cut the wallpaper to size. Place the wallpaper against the toy box before you apply it. This allows you to line up the seams and patterns on the wallpaper to the toy box.
- Create a headboard if your bed does not currently have one by wallpapering a headboard onto the wall behind the bed. You do not have to box the headboard in with wood unless you want to do so. Boxing in the headboard creates a wooden frame around the wallpapered headboard. Measure the width of the mattress and transfer this measurement to the wall. Cut and apply your wallpaper to the transferred measurement.
