- 1). Plug in the donut machine and allow it to heat for 8 to 10 minutes. Make sure that the donut maker's light is on.
- 2). Lift the donut machine's lid. Fill each section 3/4 full with dough. Close the lid.
- 3). Allow the donuts to cook for about 4 minutes. Open the lid to check on the donuts. They should be golden brown. Cook the donuts for 1 to 2 more minutes, if needed.
- 4). Use tongs to remove the donuts from the machine. Place the hot donuts on a cooling rack. Refill the donut holes with batter, and repeat Steps 2 through 4.
