    • 1). Purchase a collapsible table from a discount store or use a table that is approximately 30 inches in diameter and 30 inches tall.

    • 2). Measure the diameter of the top of the table with a tape measure. Measure from the table top to the floor for the height and double this measurement. Add the two numbers together and add 1 inch for the hem.

    • 3). Purchase one flat sheet of polyester bed linen. A single sheet will fit a small table.

    • 4). Spread the sheet on a flat surface and fold the sheet in half. Keep the fold at the top of the sheet. Pick up the top-right corner and fold the sheet in half. The top-right corner is now touching the top-left corner.

    • 5). Divide the original measurement in half; use this length to mark the cutting guideline. Place one end of the tape measure at the corner fold (the top-right corner of the folded sheet). Extend the tape measure from the folded corner to the bottom-right edge of the sheet. Use a fabric marker to make a short guideline at the appropriate length.

    • 6). Place the end of the tape measure at the folded corner. Extend the tape measure from the center fold to the top-left edge of the sheet. Use a fabric marker to make a second guideline at the correct length. With the end of the tape measure at the center fold, continue to make guidelines on the sheet at various spots between the first and second guideline marks. Trace the marks with a fabric marker to form an arc. Cut along the guideline with scissors.

    • 7). Open the sheet and measure and press a ¼-inch hem. Fold and press the hem again. Machine stitch the hem with matching thread.

    • 8). Press the tablecloth and lay it neatly on the table. Place a beveled glass top on the table to protect the tablecloth and keep the tablecloth from shifting.
