How to Focus a 35mm Camera on Macro Shots
- 1). Thread a tripod base plate to the bottom of the 35mm camera and click the plate into the corresponding seat on the top of the tripod. Move the plate lever to the "Lock" position to secure the camera.
- 2). Slide the focus selector on the barrel of the macro lens to the "M" or "Manual" position.
- 3). Turn the camera's power switch to the "On" position. Select your desired shooting mode and exposure settings.
- 4). Look through the viewfinder or use the camera's LCD screen to frame the subject.
- 5). Turn the wide, rubberized manual-focusing ring on the barrel of the lens left and right until the image appears sharply focused. If equipped, the camera's focus points will illuminate in the viewfinder. Use these indicators to guide you while focusing.
- 6). Press the camera's shutter button gently to capture the image.
