I'm Sarah, professional makeup artist and licensed aesthetician, and I'm going to show you how to apply brown eyeshadow. What you're going to need is your choice of brown eyeshadow. I like this color. It's just a matte, flat, or just a flat brown matte. What you're going to need for this is a blending brush with soft bristles and an angled brush. So, we're going to start with the angled brush and what I put on our model before hand is just a paint pot, a paint pot which is like a primer for eyeshadow, and it makes it stay on better. So, we are going to gather some brown eyeshadow powder on the tip of our angled brush, and we're going to place it in the right areas which is going to be in her crease and on the outer half of her eye and with brown it's dark so, you know, you need to start small and then build, start small, build, blend, build some more. So, we got it where we want it. Now, we're going to come back in with the blending brush and we're going to blend. And this is how you blend. You do small little circles with the blending brush, and it really makes a difference, and especially with brown or any other dark color, you want to be able to blend it around, otherwise it will just look blotchy. Okay, then it's your choice, you can come back in with a lighter brown to match it, which is what I think is a good idea, to come back in with a lighter brown matching the darker brown, and do that over the whole lid. It really ties the browns together. When you're working with brown, I would suggest finding another brown that you like with it, either lighter or darker. So, back to our blending brush. Looking fabulous. Okay, and that completes the steps on how to apply brown eyeshadow. For more information, tips and tricks you can check out glowbysarah.com.
