Hi I'm Jacque Hansen here at "Lunatic Fringe" and today I'm going to show you how to apply pressed powder. Today we're going to use a mineral pressed powder, a setting spray, as well as a contour brush. When using a pressed powder, you want to make sure that you match your skin tone prior to using it. You can do that by testing it from the jaw line to the neck and make sure you're using either a cool tone or a warm tone according to what your skin is. For her she's a warm tone so we're going to take our contour brush. It's nice and flat. That way you can get the most amount of coverage. Just give it a little tap to get rid of the excess and then just place it right on the face. You don't have to use your pressed powder everywhere. You can just use it where you want the coverage. Tapping it will just allow to not waste your product. It will also allow for a more even coverage on your brush. After you've placed your pressed powder on to the face, you can use your brush and just kind of do a nice light sweeping motion just to kind of blend it in, get rid of that powdery look and if you've done concealer under the eyes, make sure you tap a little bit of powder under there as well. That way it doesn't look shiny and also to set the powder you want to use a hydration spray and this will just take away the powdery look as well as ensure that the makeup is going to last all day long. Again I'm Jacque Hansen and I just showed you how to use pressed powder.
