- 1). Sync your iPhone with iTunes to back-up your information. If you decide to reinstall your app, the back-up will contain the application's data.
- 2). Touch and hold the application icon on the home screen until all apps begin to wiggle.
- 3). Locate the app that you want to delete. Tap on the "X" in the corner. Depending upon the app, you may be prompted to rate it before you delete it.
- 4). Tap "Delete" to remove the app from your iPhone.
- 5). Delete any other apps you want to remove in the same fashion. Press the Home button to lock the home screen icons.
