• One of the easiest and most time-efficient looks can also be one of the most classic. Women with short, curly hair are often quick to benefit from its easy wash and go look that doesn't require much fuss. To achieve bouncy, glossy curls, freshly washed hair should be allowed to dry naturally after being treated to a dab of mousse or gel that has been worked through the hair. Mousse will provide a more natural hold without weighing the hair down, while gel will lock curls in place for more control. Either way, both products produce natural looking shine and eliminate frizz, which is sometimes a problem with curly hair. Be sure to get a good cut that fits your face shape.
  
  

Smoothed and Straightened

• For those with short, super-curly hair who want to change things up a bit, an all together different look can be obtained through the use of a flat iron. Straightening curly hair can be time-consuming, but shorter hair can be done much quicker. Work the section of hair through the iron from roots to tip until all of the hair has been pulled through. • If you want to optimize your curls, but want a softer, more relaxed look, this look can be obtained by a smoothing gel and a touch of hair spray. Start with freshly washed, damp hair and put about a dime-sized amount of smoothing gel in the palm of your hand. Rub your palms together to distribute the gel and then work it through your hair from root to tip. Allow the hair to dry naturally, while finger styling your locks by wrapping individual sections of hair around your finger, holding it a moment and then letting go. The Pixie Look

• Another popular look that can easily be worn by women with very short, curly hair is the pixie cut. This cut is most commonly associated with the actress Halle Berry, but was also made popular when actress Keri Russell chopped off her famous locks in favor of the style. To achieve this look, the hair is cut very short, within an inch or two of the scalp. Strong hold styling gel is then worked through the hair, pulling the hair upward through your fingers to add body. Once the hair has dried, it should have an almost spiky look to it. Once styling is complete, spray lightly with a firm holding hair spray to lock in the style.
