- 1). Prick small holes inside the dent, using a thumb tack or needle.
- 2). Turn your iron on and allow it to warm up to the highest setting.
- 3). Place a few drops of water inside the dent.
- 4). Wet the corner of your towel.
- 5). Place the wet corner of the towel over the dent.
- 6). Heat the towel with the corner of the iron. The wet heat from the iron will cause the wood in the dent to swell, raising it up to its original location.
