    "LRG"

    • The "LRG" literally stands for Lifted Research Group. However, the company would like it to stand for more. According to LRG.com, the clothing is geared towards people who "are trying to pay their rent with their passions." They would like wearing LRG to be about more than just clothes, it should be an ideological statement.

    Design

    • Lifted Research Group was founded in 1999 by Jonas Bevacqua and Robert Wright. LRG.com states that Jonas and Robert wanted to create clothing that reflected their environment and interests. As LRG grew they were able to bring in new designers who expressed their vision and background through clothes.

    Logo

    • LRG clothing often features one or more of their five green logos. The cycle logo features a tree within a circle and represents the growth cycle. The number 47 represents the age of Jonas Bevaquas's mother when LRG was founded. The giraffe logo is a symbol of elevation while the tree logo stands for strong roots.
