There are many different types of wine racks available for consumers, and because of the variety there is a rack that will work for almost any aesthetic. Corner wall mount wine racks are not as common, but there are various types of this type of wine rack that still provide consumers with choices. - Metal wall hanging wine racks are a very specific type of corner wall mounted rack. These are designed with strong but somewhat flexible metal coils that are designed in a minimalist fashion. These racks vary greatly in design and size, and can hold anywhere from two to ten bottles. The biggest issue that consumers need to be aware of is that many of these are designed to hold bottles so they are pointing straight up or straight down. This is not how bottles of wine are supposed to be stored, and keeping bottles in a vertical position for any amount of time will help turn them into vinegar, so be careful to choose a good design that allows the bottles to lay down on their sides.
- Wooden corner wall wine racks are designed very differently than some of their metal counterparts. Most wood designs are long and vertical, sometimes up to four or five feet tall, and are thickest in the middle before tapering off at both ends. The middle will have several grooves cut in designed perfectly to lay a bottle on its side, which is the correct way a bottle of wine is supposed to be stored. Various models exist to hold anywhere from three to eight bottles, and the wood will be dark stained, giving it a pleasant aesthetic appearance for most homes or kitchens.
- If wood, cast iron, or the classic metal rack don't provide the appropriate match for your home decor, then the chrome corner wall mount wine rack for bottles and glasses may be the best choice for a modern or ultra modern home. Many of the chrome models are designed with grooves on top to hold several bottles side by side, while the bottom section is designed to suspend wine glasses upside down, providing a place for both items in one spot. Some are even double shelved, with one entire shelf for bottles and the other for glasses.
