- 1). Hold down the Jawbone's talk and NoiseAssassin buttons at the same time until the indicator light alternates flashing red and white. If you have the newer Jawbone Icon, hold the talk button while sliding the power switch to the "on" position instead. The headset is now in pairing mode.
- 2). Access the main menu on the i580, then select the "Bluetooth" option. Select "Hands Free," then "Find Devices." If Bluetooth was off, a prompt will appear asking you to turn Bluetooth on.
- 3). The phone will automatically populate a list of available Bluetooth devices. Once your Jawbone headset appears in the list, select it.
- 4). Enter "0000" as the PIN when prompted by the phone. Your i580 and Jawbone are now paired. By default, the two devices will automatically connect when they are both turned on and in range.
