How to Tie Bar Shoe Laces
- 1). Hold the ends of the shoelace and feed them into the eyelets. Pull till taut to create the first bar.
- 2). Pull one end upward and through the next level of eyelets, then across, to form the next bar. This end will be used to lace bars in the even row of eyelets.
- 3). Pull the other end up past the last row and through the eyelet, then across. This end will lace the bars in the odd-numbered rows.
- 4). Repeat steps two and three until all eyelets are laced in rows. Pull the lace out and through the last set of eyelets.
- 5). Tighten to personal taste and finish with a conventional shoelace bow.
