Clown Mask

• 1). Place the base mask in the middle of a square piece of fun foam. Trace only the eyes of the base mask onto the foam. Next, remove the base mask and draw a mask around the traced eyes in any shape you wish. Then cut out the mask and the eye holes.
  
  
• 2). Choose a different foam color and draw a clown nose in any shape you like. If you want a long nose, draw a long triangle, cut it out and fold it in half. Flatten the end of the nose and glue it between and below the eyes.
  
  
• 3). Draw the features of the clown with markers. You could either use famous clowns for reference or create your own original features. When you are finished, use feathers, sequins, yarn and ribbons to decorate your clown mask.
  
  
• 4). Cut the elastic to fit your head and staple the band to both sides of your mask. Voila! You have a clown mask.
  
  

Clown Hat

• 1). Decorate a plain party hat with colorful designs (or cover a regular party hat with white paper to decorate). Use markers, paint, colored paper cutouts or all three. Add as much color as you want!
  
  
• 2). Cut various lengths of ribbon and glue them under the rim of the hat, creating clown hair. You could also use paper strips or stretched cotton balls for fluffier hair.
  
  
• 3). Decorate the top of the hat with a pompom, confetti, or more ribbons. You can glue the pompom to the top of the hat, or tie ribbons or confetti in a knot and glue the knot to the hat.
  
  
• 4). Put on your clown hat. Because this is a ready-made party hat, the elastic will secure it to your head.
