Downloading a Theme with Your Phone

• 1). Go to the "Home" screen, which you can reach by pressing the red "End" key.
  
  
• 2). Select the "Options" icon on the BlackBerry Storm's display.
  
  
• 3). Select "Theme."
  
  
• 4). Press the "Menu" key, which is the button near in the middle-left, just below the screen. It has the 7-dot BlackBerry icon imprinted on it.
  
  
• 5). Click "Download Themes." In a moment your phone will display the theme options available for you to download.
  
  
• 6). Select the theme you want to try out, then choose the download option. It should only take a few moments to complete the download.
  
  

Downloading a Theme with Your Computer

• 1). Connect your BlackBerry Storm to your computer using its provided USB cable.
  
  
• 2). Navigate to "appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/" on your computer.
  
  
• 3). Sign up for a BlackBerry ID or log in if you already have one. To sign up, click the "Register" link near the top of the page; to log in, click the "Sign In" link next to it. Then just follow the on-screen prompts to finish signing up or logging in.
  
  
• 4). Navigate again to "appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/" and select "Themes" from the left-hand list of links.
  
  
• 5). Find and click on a theme you'd like. You can check out some of the most popular ones by selecting "Popular" next to "Sort By," or you can look through by "subcategories," using the links under the heading "Refine by Subcategory."
  
  
• 6). Click the "Download" or the "Purchase" button on the theme's page. Some theme developers allow their themes to be free; others require payment. The website will prompt you for payment information if the app requires a purchase. Afterward, the "Begin Sync" option will be available on your screen.
  
  
• 7). Click "Begin Sync" to sync the theme to your BlackBerry. It should only take a few moments.
  
  

Applying a Theme

• 1). Go to the "Home" screen by pressing the red "End" key.
  
  
• 2). Click "Options," then "Theme Options."
  
  
• 3). Highlight and click the theme you want to use on your phone.
  
  
• 4). Click "Save" on the display to complete apply your new BlackBerry theme.
