    • 1). Measure around your wrist to determine the length you need for your bracelet. Cut out a length of jewelry wire with your wire cutters that equals your measurement plus about two inches to work with.

    • 2). Open up your barrel clasp so that you have the two pieces. Thread a crimping bead onto the jewelry wire on one side. Take the end of the wire and loop it through the end of the barrel clasp. Pull the end around the loop and then thread the end back through the crimping bead. With your pliers, clamp the bead to close the loop and secure the wire to the clasp.

    • 3). One a flat surface or beading mat, lay out your beads in the pattern you want for your bracelet. Determine which charms you want to use and dangle from your bracelet. Using your pliers, open up a jump ring and attach it to the loop on your charm. Repeat this process on all charms you intend to use. Add the charms to your layout of beads to complete the pattern.

    • 4). Begin threading your beads and charms onto the jewelry wire in the order you have your pattern laid out. Once all beads are on your wire, attach a crimp bead. Thread the end of the wire through the other end of the barrel clasp and then back through the crimp bead. With your pliers, crimp the crimp bead shut. Trim any excess jewelry wire with your wire cutters.
