Decorative Organization - Clutter Free and Fabulous

103 7
One of the key components of a comfortable and attractive environment is that it doesn't suffer from the curse of clutter.
Having chaos in a space is a recipe for disaster, making the environment feel uneasy, dirty, and even uncomfortable in a very subtle but powerful way.
That is why organization and de-cluttering should be a major component of any decorative scheme that you undertake.
However that doesn't mean you have to throw away all your possessions or limit your life to what can fit in a series of drawers.
Instead there are ways to make the home look beautiful using organizational tools.
Every functional item can be made to look better, if you're willing to spend the time and or effort on it.
Storage bins are a traditional hallmark of organizational decorating.
However these unsightly plastic tubs are often an eyesore on a space.
Instead use nice, attractive, hardwood fixtures such as shelves and storage cabinets to organize and sort your possessions.
The less expensive plastic bins can be placed inside of these accessories to further increase the organizational structure available to you, while hiding any unsightly effects that they may have.
Another way to increase the organizational space in the home is to make certain items do double duty.
For instance, there are a variety of small coffee tables and side tables which you can purchase, that have storage compartments underneath the top.
There are also bins that you can get to float under a bed, or under couches, to give you a little extra space, without intruding on the room.
There are also a wide variety of closet organizers out there that can improve the efficiency of closets, allowing you to fit more things in them.
There are similar items which can be placed inside of cabinets, and even in bathroom settings.
Any way you can increase the storage behind closed doors, means you don't have to have unsightly organizational items out in the open.
