My K850i Won't Stream Videos
- 1). Move to a stronger Wi-Fi zone. If your Internet connection is low, the video file is not going to stream.
- 2). Fully charge the battery on the Sony Ericsson K850i. If the battery is beginning to fail, the streaming option does not function.
- 3). Power down the Sony Ericsson K850i, remove the battery and leave it off for a few minutes. Then turn it back on. This performs a hard reset on the internal settings of the phone -- without deleting your saved material. Once the reset is complete, the phone should now stream videos.
- 4). Upload the latest software update for the Sony Ericsson phone. Navigate to the Sony Ericsson website, select the "K850i" as your device, then select the "Support" feature. In the "Downloads" option, download and install the sync software, which is required for uploading new firmware. Once downloaded, select the latest firmware download available to you. Plug the provided USB cable into the power port on the phone, then insert the free end into a USB connection port on your computer. Launch the installed sync software, then click-and-drag the downloaded firmware into the open window. This updates the programming running on the cell phone, allowing you to stream video files on the equipment.
